ACCREDITATION ASSESSMENT TEAM INVITES PUBLIC COMMENT

A team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. Calling Scams

Recently, CPD has been fielding calls regarding complaints of people receiving calls where they are being told that they either are about to be arrested on warrants from a Federal Agency (IRS etc...) or that they were sent a subpoena to come to court and that they were in violation because they did not show up. In these instances, the potential victims were told to get a green dot card to pay the caller.

Hide, Take and Lock!

Over the past week, there have been several more auto burglaries reported to the Collierville Police Department at local businesses. Our investigation has shown that in each incident, valuables were left in plain sight inside the vehicle and in some cases, the vehicle was unlocked.
