Jailer Hall receives Award
Jailer Wayne Hall was selected as the Facility Training Officer of the Year by the Tennessee Corrections Institute last week. The following is a part of the nomination letter for the award.
"It is my pleasure to nominate Wayne Hall as FTO (Facility Training Officer) of the year for the Tennessee Corrections Institute (TCI). Jailer Hall has been employed with the Collierville Police Department as a jailer since February 22, 2010, and currently serves as a jail FTO. In that role, he... is responsible for assisting with the planning and scheduling for in-service training. He also coordinated with other agencies to assist with planning annual in-service. As an FTO, Hall has instructed new police officers by giving them an overview of jail operations and passed on invaluable institutional knowledge as it relates to the jail. Hall has a positive attitude towards his department, peers and the mission of TCI. His coworkers and supervisor know that they can depend on Hall for assistance when issues arise. He strives to exceed expectations on a daily basis."
This, along with many other duties is why Jailer Hall was given this award. CPD appreciates Jailer Hall's hard work and dedication to the citizens of the Town of Collierville. Congradulations Wayne!
