Collierville Police Recognize Bill Bradham for 25 Years of Service
 

Collierville Police Chief Larry Goodwin presented Collierville Police Accreditation Manager Bill Bradham with his 25 year service pin and Distinguished Service Plaque during the August 11 Mayor and Board of Aldermen meeting. “It’s my pleasure to make this presentation to Bill Bradham for his dedicated and loyal service,” Chief Goodwin said.

 ‘National Night Out’ Supported by Collierville Subdivisions

National Night Out, also known as, “America’s Night out against Crimeis anationwide event designed to heighten drug prevention and crime awareness, generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts, and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships. Neighbors uniting send a message to criminals letting them know that their neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.  National Night Out now involves over 37.8 million people and 16,124 communities from all fifty states, U.S. Territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide.

On July 27, 2014 the Collierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen recognized Lieutenant Norm Dixon with his 25 year service pin.

 

The Collierville Police Department, in cooperation with the local community and Google Translate, worked to develop tips in Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese to help educate the Asian community on how to prevent being a victim of a robbery.

The Collierville Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will be providing the community with another opportunity to rid their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. On September 27th, from 10:00am until 2:00pm, please bring your medications for disposal to the Collierville Police Department at 156 North Rowlett. The service is free and anonymous, with no questions asked. The DEA cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps; only pills and patches are acceptable.
